How are y’all doing? Winter weather is here to stay! I’ve been wearin’ my winter coat for almost a week now, piling all my layers underneath when I go out. Even though I’m dressin’ in lots more clothes, I love this time of year! Golly, I think it’s so gosh darn neat when I can come home and warm up by the fireplace and watch some good television or read a book. Lately I’ve been watching that World Series stuff, and I must say I sure am proud of those Phillies! Fans at those games were comin’ out of that there stadium with so many shirts; they looked like they couldn’t put their arms down! Seems like you Stitchers want shirts too -- and I’ve got them for you. And the next time you’re coming back from the arctic airs outside, come in; send me any requests of items you’re lookin’ for!

Dear Phil,
I am looking for a wholesaler that carries youth turtleneck shirts. I find plenty of mock turtleneck but customer doesn't want that. Help please!

I only found one source for regular youth turtlenecks, Brenda. Try Trimark Sportswear Group Inc. (asi/92122); (800) 732-8383; www.trimarksportswear.com. Product 57875 is a youth pre-shurnk turtleneck with a Lycra collar. It features a blended fabric that is treated to resist bacteria and odors; it comes in black, navy, red and white.

Dear Phil,
Please help me find white or black compression T-shirts in youth sizes 6-8, 10-12, 14-16 and 18-20. It's similar to the SanMar (adult size Sport Tek Compression T-shirt T255). I've exhausted all my resources. Thanks for your help.

Hi ya, Jane. I didn’t find these shirts in numbered youth sizes but I did find youth smalls, mediums, larges and extra larges. Try Northfield Trading Co. Inc. (asi/74257); (888) 849-6001; www.forestandhue.com. Look for product 3141Y, a youth long-sleeve mock turtle-neck shirt with a base layer compression fit. It features TempraDry performance that wicks away odor and sweat; the shirt also has UPF 50 protection. Also try A/4 Moshay Inc. (asi/30121); (888) 464-3824; www.a4.com. Look for product NB3133, a 5 oz. youth-sized long-sleeve compression mock turtleneck made of polyester and spandex. Comes in black, navy, silver and white.

We need a wholesale source for long sleeve shirts in youth sizes. We do a lot of team shirts for Junior Rodeo groups and High School rodeo organizations. We buy "tons" of shirts from Blue Generation and know that they have a long-sleeve youth oxford in white and light blue. We are looking for colored shirts, e.g. red, royal, black, etc. Several years ago LAT Sportswear sold a youth shirt in S, M and L in colors. However, they discontinued that line and don't have any more in stock.
